Academic dementia, or Academentia, refers to the institutional group think supporting the conflict-based economy. It is also a collective denial of the negative consequences caused by the national demise.

Academentia is sustained by a belief-based political system, fueled by money, that results in social division and deception. Candidates must campaign on their common beliefs with the voters but then legislate on behalf of those who fund their campaigns.

Academentia is acknowledging the national demise while advocating the same policies that are causing it. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is a form of insanity, or deception. Either way, I call it Academentia and look forward to parsing some examples.
